Schawk entered the Indian market in February 2005, when it completed the acquisition of Seven Worldwide. Prior to this, Chennai-based RKKR Group, one of South India’s oldest and most respected business houses was part of a joint venture agreement with Seven WW.

Schawk expanded its global footprint into India in response to its clients’ interests and plans to bring their products—many of which are being manufactured and packaged in India for distribution throughout the world—to an emerging market with more than one billion consumers.

As a result, today Schawk (which was founded in 1953), offers a profound depth and breadth of knowledge, integrated capabilities, environmental sustainability insight, a global footprint and advanced technologies to consumer products companies, retailers, advertising agencies and corporate businesses.
