Schawk entered the Belgian market in late 2004 when it acquired Winnetts, a UK-based graphic services company. Our office is located in the country’s second largest city, Antwerp, in the region of Flanders. Antwerp is the gateway to Schawk’s comprehensive brand point management services in Belgium and throughout the world.

Often called the “great meeting place” of Western Europe, Belgium’s character and history has been influenced by Austrians, Spanish, French and Dutch, which is visible in the country’s architecture, lifestyle and people. At the intersection of commercial and cultural exchange, Belgium is home to both the European Union and NATO and one of the European cities known for the development of Art Noveau.

The country has also enjoyed an artistic reputation since the 17th century throughout which its school of painting was associated with Rubens, Van Dyck and Jordaens.

Belgium has a strong globalized economy and today, Antwerp is renowned for being the “World’s Leading Diamond City.” It has also earned acclaim in the fashion world for having produced designers such as the Antwerp Six and for being home to one of Europe’s most recognized fashion academies, Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
