For more than 50 years, Schawk’s core competency has been premedia.
From the earliest days of the Company’s history, Schawk has managed and
manipulated color in the production and premedia process to help
printers and mutual clients achieve superior quality in the
reproduction of designs.

Our knowledge and experience with color and how it behaves under
many different conditions remains the cornerstone of our business even
today. We continue to advance, share and leverage our knowledge and
experience in this area with leading industry business partners such as
Adobe, DuPont, Esko, Kodak and others.

Our relationship with printers and converters has always been
collaborative and this allows us to deliver image carriers that are
essentially custom-built to meet the specific characteristics of a
particular printing press. This ensures the best possible reproduction
of designs.

While Schawk has been known primarily for its leadership in the
consumer packaging arena, we have leveraged our knowledge of this, the
most demanding of mediums, to meet the needs of the advertising
industry and other brand touchpoints, delivering meticulously-prepared
digital files in industry-standard formats to publishers worldwide.
