BLUE
BLUE OnLine Proofing (OLP) offers simultaneous collaboration through parallel routing of a proofing cycle to multiple proofers. Rather than send out a number of proofs (via email or FedEx) to different team members, or utilize a check-in/check-out sequential process, BLUE OLP allows everyone to view and approve the same file at the same time via a web browser. This gives everyone (with the right security) the ability to view each other’s annotations in real-time, which improves and streamlines communication leading to reduced approval timelines.
Additionally, BLUE OLP allows team members to view large files without taking the time to download them. BLUE OLP simply renders an image (of the printable file) and presents a viewable file that is a fraction of the size of the original artwork file, making it much quicker to view than an email attachment.
With BLUE OLP, collaboration is seamless, removing the need for the consolidation step normally required to gather all annotations from each team member or department. BLUE OLP can be used at any stage of the process, from creative inception through production art and refinement into final production and signoff, and is tightly integrated with BLUE Lifecycle Management, allowing for the complete management of the artwork lifecycle in a web-based environment.
With BLUE OLP, users can enjoy the benefits of a paperless routing and approval tool that can very quickly and efficiently route high resolution, bandwidth-intensive files over limited bandwidth networks while gathering an auditable trail of comments and options relative to the content of the graphics or project being routed.
