In response to consumer and business concerns, the Australian government recently began implementing a new set of Country of Origin Labeling (CoOL) standards for food products sold in the country.
Under the new standards, imported food packaging must clearly state the country of which it was sourced. For products originating in Australia, packaging will feature an “Australian Made, Australian Grown” certification label. With less than 22 months to go until compliance is mandatory, does your brand have a plan to avoid costly packaging and labeling inventory write-offs?
In the next BrandSquare webinar, powered by SGK, our Paul Haggett, business development manager at Schawk Australia, explains what the upcoming CoOL legislation means for your brand, and how you can avoid costly missteps through proper preparation.
